Your Salestitan Guides

Link your Facebook ad account to SalesTitan to generate and oversee your Facebook ads using the SalesTitan ads tool. Before commencing, go through the stipulated conditions to connect your account. Following the connection, SalesTitan will exhibit and provide insights into all the ongoing ad campaigns in that account.

Facebook ad account connection requirements

If you have a browser extension like Ghostery or AdBlock installed, ensure to deactivate it before linking your ad account and while using the SalesTitan Ads tool. These ad blockers may hinder the proper loading of the ads tool.

Ensure the Facebook ad account is active, as disabled accounts cannot be linked to SalesTitan. If a connected Facebook ad account becomes disabled, it will be automatically disconnected from SalesTitan, displaying an error in the interface. Refer to Facebook’s documentation for details on reenabling disabled ad accounts.

The SalesTitan user initiating the connection to the Facebook ad account must possess Publish access to the ads tool. Additionally, the connecting user must be an administrator of the ad account in Business Manager.

To verify admin status:

  • Access your Facebook business manager.
  • In the left sidebar menu under Accounts, select Ad Accounts.
  • Choose the ad account for connection.
  • Click on your Facebook user’s name in the right pane to view ad account permissions.
  • Confirm that the Manage Ad Account permission switch is toggled on.

Connect your Facebook ad account

If you have a browser extension like Ghostery or AdBlock installed, be sure to disable it before linking your ad account and when using the SalesTitan Ads tool. These ad blockers might impede the proper loading of the ads tool.

Make sure that the Facebook ad account is active, as inactive accounts cannot be connected to SalesTitan. If a linked Facebook ad account is disabled, it will automatically disconnect from SalesTitan, and an error will be displayed in the interface. Refer to Facebook’s documentation for guidance on reactivating disabled ad accounts.

The SalesTitan user initiating the connection to the Facebook ad account needs to have Publish access to the ads tool. Additionally, the connecting user must be an administrator of the ad account in Business Manager.

To check admin status:

  • Go to your Facebook Business Manager.
  • In the left sidebar menu under Accounts, choose Ad Accounts.
  • Select the ad account you want to connect.
  • Click on your Facebook user’s name in the right pane to view ad account permissions.
  • Ensure that the Manage Ad Account permission switch is turned on.

Please note:

  • If your ad account encounters any unresolved billing issues or gets disabled by Facebook due to a violation of their ad policies, SalesTitan will designate the ad account as Inactive. To resolve this matter, you should examine your Facebook business settings and consult Facebook’s support resources.
  • If you wish to sever the connection between your Facebook ad account and SalesTitan, it is advisable to do so through SalesTitan rather than through Facebook. Disconnecting your Facebook ad account on Facebook will eliminate all account associations accessible to the logged-in Facebook user, encompassing other Facebook ad accounts not linked to SalesTitan.

Important note: If you share data from your SalesTitan account with Facebook through the SalesTitan  Ads integration, Facebook’s Self-serve Ad Terms will be applicable. Upon authorizing the integration, SalesTitan receives a user token with permissions on the connected ad accounts and pages. SalesTitan can view, but does not store, all the ad accounts and pages you have permission for. Facebook will disclose settings details (such as name, budget, bid strategy, creative) and performance metrics (impressions, clicks, etc.) for all ad campaigns, ad sets, and ads in the connected ad accounts.
